temperatures are still above freezing here in collegeville but that's not going to last.ooks like christmas behind me but only thanksgivingly one of the area hardest hit with today's heavy wet snow. look how heavy the snow fell on top of this railing on top of this awning and it's dripping now still meting. take look at the ground as well if you walk with me you can see the slushy snow on the ground. in parking lots, sidewalks you've got this mess, this slushy slop that is all just going to turn to ice as we go through the overnight hours. it's not ice now. the still just wet but lot of people will be out and about early on thanksgiving morning heading to their destinations and you've got to watch for those slippery spots. we're still at 35.4 degrees it's actually a five-tenths of a degree warmer than it was 10:00 o'clock. let's take look at snow amounts as i mentioned we got about 3-inches here in the colleg collegeville area. we've been up and down this end tarry john collegeville towards graterford limerick and seeing a decent amount of snow allentown with for .8. but

i talked to police in montgomery county and they said they called penndot out here in collegeville toavenue route 29 at east main street. they said that they came out and are going to salt the area because of some icy conditions there. so just an example of what could happen out there. anything that looks like a little puddle could be slick with temperatures that are really dropping pretty rapidly through the region. here in plymouth township we have an accident here that involved a damaged pole so they're out there waiting for verizon produce to be able to finish the job of cleaning this out here and fixing the pole. fairfield road at volpe road. watch for that. police are directing traffic around the scene. stick to belvoir road instead. turnpike between valley forge and norristown we have construction out there so look for that. this accident involving a tractor-trailer leaking fuel. this is on the northeast extension southbound between lansdale and mid county so watch for that. you're seeing speeds now of only 30 miles per hour so look for that to be a problem and one more acciden
