the man accused of opening fire at a p pnned parenthood clinic in cololodo springs is set to make his first court appearance today. robert dear is accused of killing a police officer and two civilians -- an iraq war veteran and a mother of two -- who were accompanying separate friends to the clinic. the rampage touched off an hours-long standoff and shootout friday that also left nine other people in the hospital. jury selection begins today in the first trial of six baltimore police officers indicted in the death of freddie gray. officer william porter arrived for court this morning. he's charged with assault, manslaughter, recklessss endangerment and misconduct in office. in april, gray suffered an injury while riding in the back of a police transport van. his legs were shackled and he was not wearing a seatbelt. officers found gray unresponsive and took him to a hospital. he died a week later. a handful of protesters stood outside the courthouse this morning with signs callininfor justste for freddie gray. the other five officers will be tried separately. at the climate summit in p
