this is the firehouse at columbia pike. you cannot hear it, but here you can hear the bubbling going on. a few moments ago we were told that there was a possibility that this ease of road could buckle again. he could have a situation where more of the road gets more torn up. you can see the water flowing in this direction. columbia pike is close from tyler, east from where i am standing, all the way west to blair road. at the moment the traffic backup but i can see -- john is showing where fairfax police are directing traffic. at the moment it is not terrible but obviously the big concern will be into the rush hour tonight. fairfax police are telling us that the repairs here could take up to 24 hours to fix. you are looking at a possibility of not only rush-hour being impacted today or later this evening, but possibly into tomorrow morning. you can see that the water has yet to be turned off and it is still a very active situation. the water crews are there assessing what is going on and we are waiting to hear from them wit
