comcast wants to make sure it has stuff to offer people. another story that a lot of people have been focusing recently is why is netflix paying comcast money to ensure that it has better broadband speeds? just yesterday it said we're against the merger of comcast with time-warner cable because they'll have more control. so they hate that comcast has the ability to do that but they're also going to pay them because they're offering a service and want to make sure their customers have smooth speeds when they're watching in primetime. comcast, any paid tv player wants to have all of that content. so it really comes down to the leverage that the broadcasters have. and if you can afford to pay them some money, well, obviously they've within willing to -- they've been willing to pay millions for that content. >> when i think of these over-the-air broadcasters, they're making their money from their advertisers. nobody watched with rabbit ears anymore. why don't they cancel the over-the-air broadcast and say we're only sending it out digitally and give it out on antennas. >> they're getting billions on retransition fees. if they cancel it, they do
