comes down to a couple things. first of all, contract talks stalled and nurses saying the hospital isn't covering their health care expenses the way they used to. at least that's the proposal. it amounts to about $4,000 and a proposed decrease in employer covered expenses. the hospital proposed to change in their health care plan after the contract with the nurses union expired. that was last may. in october, that prompted a three-day walk out. i spoke with a spokesperson by phone. they are offering three other options, including a hospital paid hmo for the nurses. the hospital is going through what everyone is going through, that's tough economic times. short term, they have hired replacement workers so everything will go on as planned in terms of health care services here. some elective procedures may be delayed. the nurses are expected to start walking on the picket line at 7:00 this morning. live in oakland, christie smith, today in the bay. >> thank you very much. time is 5:07 now. it was down right hot yester
