the committee process is so challenging at times largely because the committees are so overpopulated. the financial services committee was reduced in size plus 60 members. trying to build consensus is very challenging in the current environment. everything we are talking about, got to have relationships to create the policy that has bipartisan support. my entire time and congress is going the opposite way. it starts at the top and then we received notice that were going to vote on something. twenty-four hours and that's 12 under pages long. rsi think the american recipe plan was 5040 pages long. i am not maligning the other party. i think we would be doing the same thing if the tables were turned. how do we create a culture that facilitates these conversationss? i'm not really clear something like immigration should not be as difficult as it is to fix. there's a number of different levers, your not going to get all you want but you will be better when you finish it. it's not even happening. i don't know groups of democrats and republicans sit down to fix immigration for a republicans
