my community in the laguna pueblo, and the pueblo laguna is communities. there we're still dealing with the aftereffects of a mind left behind damage, that ruined the health of so many people. it's rewarding to travel the country to see cleanup get underway in communities that have been left behind. it's especially rewarding to know that these local communities have a direct say in how this work gets accomplished on a recent trip to pittsburgh, a small business owner told me that he's been able to nearly double the wages of his workers comp and expects to hire even more employees because of the amount of work generated by these signs. and we are just getting started as we make new funding available where each encouraging states to use project labor agreements and the union workforce to keep trade workers and economic opportunity at the center. our clean energy goals also present enormous opportunities for new family sustaining jobs, through innovative lease stipulations and bidding credits we are launching a robust, resilient, domestic offshore wind supply

i'm the communications and community engagement specialist at asian women shelter. and it is absolutely my honor and privilege to accept this word on behalf of a man amanda thing, body pakiya. i had a lot of practice working with her for a year. um at long last name on instagram definitely follow her and all her amazing art. um she could not be here today because she's in the middle of another project. um so earlier this year , asian women shelter had the absolute privilege and honor to work with amanda. to come up with this prevention campaign. so i just a little bit about us, where one of only three domestic violence shelters in san francisco? yes there are only three and we're the ones that provides a lot of culturally specific services, so it warms my heart to see all the language access we have over 100 language advocates that speak over 40 different languages. if any of you guys are interested, please connect with me and we would love to have you as a language advocate. um so the collaboration with amanda was made possible by the a p i civic engagement fund. u

we small companies small businesses, we hire the community, so when we hire the community all of our money goes back into the community, and it is frustrating to see that contractors who are making millions of dollars in the city of san francisco have a way out to not use contractors in the city of san francisco. especially minority companies. so i would like to see some kind of support about that. i dont really know how it is played out. i know i can tell you that treasure island, even though they are not doing it in the work development development or development agreement it says that san francisco lbe should be looked at before sbe, before people outside the state. we are already having a hard time with bidding against people from livermore, vallejo, because they cost are not as much as our cost in the city. i would like somewhere in oewd, whether it is work development is completely different then contracts, and somewhere if there could be some kind of wording that is going to support the contractor in the city of san francisco. i dont know how that looks, i'm just saying it is
