it's on its way to the concord yard but it's moving very slowly. bart got heavy equipment keeping the train on the tracks. it was a 1200-pound metal monitor piece. now that 10 car train is moving at about 5 miles an hour. originally they thought they would need a rescue train to move it but engineers got the train up and running. >> it's now sitting cut up on the platform with wires all tangled up in it. they are going to move it out of the way clean up the tracks and then get it open hopefully the estimate right now is within two hours. >> reporter: this comes after yesterday at the peak of the evening commute. the train pulled into this orinda station and people on the platform saw smoke from underneath. firefighters say the smoke was coming from the train's semiconductor box. the good news is that no one was injured. now investigators are working to figure out how and where this fire started. delays are about five minutes rights now because the orinda station is operating on a single track and until that train is completely moved off of the rail

the tow company has been here in concord for close to 30 years.s you take a look behind me, we've been here all morning. as daylight is coming out now, you can see more of the details of the damage from the late night fire from last night. you can see at least one car there that was damaged from the fire to the right of it is actually a travel trailer and then you see the extextive damage to the building on the outside. but what you don't see is there is extensive smoke damage on the inside as well as to other cars as well. pretty quick response from firefighters last night. this single alarm fire started before 11:00 last night on the 2200 block here in concord. firefighters say it started in the tow yard area of b and d towing. several firefighters came to the scene and were able to put out the flames in 20, 30 minutes and to keep it from damaging more of the building, nearby businesses and other cars parked in the tow yard. this morning, the owner spoke to us and said overall, there are between 4, 6 cars that are damaged along with the travel t
