a popular concord park turned into a crime scene right now. police investigating a homicide at hillcrest park this morning. >> "today in the bay" bob redell joining us from the scene with details just revealed. someone found a body in that park. >> just after midnight, sam and laura. as you can see right now a good portion of this park is shut down as law enforcement, namely concord police conduct their investigation. we believe that the body was found beyond these cars over here. it was around 12:05 that someone called 911 to report they found a man on the ground who was unresponsive. whoever made the call did stick around to talk with police and when police arrived, they did find this man with at least one gunshot wound and that person was declared dead here at the scene. all we know is that that person is a man. do not know the age. they have not released the identity and they have not released that they know who this is. they aric looie ilooking into wr not this is gang related or other recent homicides that have taken place in the concord
