concord, get ready for more 90s. south bay and east bay locations, you're going to have a lot of sunshine heating things up. we barely have any cloud cover right now. we have clear conditions all day long. we'll start to notice tonight the onshore breeze kicking in that marine layer. at all 12 boys and their soccer coach ha been rescued from that flooded cave in thailand. >> what a great few day, keep waking up to this good news. this morning the remaining four boys and coach were brought to safety. the last two were rescued in just the past hour. late tuesday afternoon after the longest rescue operation, four members of the soccer team and their 25-year-old coach safely emerged from the cave. only a doctor and three thai navy seals who helped with the rescue effort still need to get out before the operation is wrapped up. it was a tremendous effort, workers continuing to pump water out of the cave. and both the coach and the boys wore dive masks to move through thguinfoowed behind for the entire 2 and a half mile jo

(jrstone) it's been a couple of days since the massive grassfire in concord sparked.. but officials say the danger is far from over. investigators have said that they believe that the fire was likely caused by a car backfiring.. kron 4's hermela aregawi spoke to fire officials and has more. grassy areas like this one and some like this one grassy areas and some public parks in the concord area are closed..as firefighters work to make sure the fire stays out using equipment to manipulate the ground.. and put down some barrierssteve aubert/contra costa county fire deptwhat they will do, and they'll come in and they'll take sections of land and they put the dozer and we actually push the dirt and dry grass all the way up and bring it back down to fresh dirt.we generally try to go for 30 foot firebreaks when we create those. that way when the fire does burn up to that line that's pretty much where it stops. in the high winds situation like we were discussing, that;s where it becomes a little trickier. you can make a very large firebreak but those embers will still c lineme
