you have critical events like the people's congress in march, the party congress in the second half ofs year. what do you think will be most important to watch this year, gabriel? gabriel: traditionally, what we have seen in the party congress years is a strong commitment to supporting short-term economic growth. and i think this year, we are going to see a degree of that. but my view is that gdp growth is much less important than it used to be and there are other objectives competing with gdp growth. i don't think we will see the all-out bliutz to support short-term growth, as we saw in 2016. i think they will try to do just enough to uphold the bottom line. gdp growth target of 5% next year. they will try to do as little as possible on housing, try to boost infrastructure, consumption, exports remaining strong, rely on those growth targets as much as possible. rishaad: let's not forget there is an economic imperative. gabriel: one, and that is why there is this -- 100%. that is why there are short-term concerns about boosting growth that will require some easing on the housing sector
