i'm congressman jim hymes from connecticut. i'm here as chairman of the new democratic coalition. many of you will know that the new democratic coalition, we get called the centrists, the moderates, the pragmatists in the house. we prefer a different definition. we like to think of ourselves, because we are probably younger than average, because we have more private sector than on average, we like to think of ourselves as really trying to figure out what the future of progressive politics looks like. that's what i'm here to talk about this afternoon. we are now -- there's 68 of us. we anticipate being a lot larger after november. we imagine we'll pick up people in the kind of purple districts that new democrats come from. so we have engaged ourselves on a lot of things as we do. but we have really devoted a lot of time, energy, and resources to what we call our future of work project. and there's a whole bunch of good things about the future. first of all, it jibes with the theme that has -- [ inaudible ] is that the time limit? >> no, i'm sorry. i hit the wrong button. >> when i
