let's go to connell mcshane. i can't believe these numbers, connell. let's get into it. >> every day of the week, it's unbelievable. the president started it off with a speech before the opening bell. kevin just talked about it. didn't slow down the market rally. maybe helped it along a bit. there's other factors that we'll get into in a second. he talked about this idea of america being open for business. the companies being encouraged to invest here with fair trade deals. as we look at markets and they wrap it up for the week, it's record highs every day seems like. the dow with the 99th record since election day 2016. nasdaq and s&p also higher. in addition to the speech we talked about, earnings and economic data is driving it. the economy grew to 2.6% annual rate last quarter. somewhat disappointing. below the 3% target. economists tell us the underlying demand numbers were strong in this report indicating we might get better growth in the months to come. technology stocks, terrific day. a lot of that driven by the intel earnings from last night.
