cheryl conner, abc 7 news.imberly: right now, a search for answers in the death of a woman at a montgomery county motel. investigators were called to the red roof inn on shady grove road in rockville this morning for the report of a woman found dead. the police say the woman was stabbed to death. they are investigating the death as suspicious. no word on her identity or a possible suspect. andloping tonight, the ntsb faa are investigating a helicopter crash near bwi airport. doing lineter was inspections for baltimore gas & electric when it went down. three people were on board, none of them seriously hurt. officials say there was no impact on airline operations, but there were some delays on mark and amtrak routes. crews were called in to battle a brush five because of the crash. turning now to the seems like spring is finally settling in. a great start to the weekend. and it's going to hang on for a couple more days. we head over to josh knight for the good news. josh: so easy to have my job when it's all goo

cheryl: in beltsville, cheryl conner, abc7 news.son: president obama weighed in publicly on the north carolina so-called bathroom law. he said h.b.2 is wrong and >> president obama: although i respect their different view points it's very important for us not to send signals that anybody is treated differently. alison: this week the u.k. sent out travel advisory about possible discrimination as lgbt citizens travel to states like north carolina. hb2 requires transgender people to use the restroom of the sex listed on their berth sert -- birth certificate. jonathan: while we talk about the issue the school board is requesting a full appeals board review of a case that could impact the north carolina law. here is why i say that. three judges on the fourth circuit ruled a high school discriminated against a transgendered teen by forcing him to use the boys bathroom. the full court will review the decision. because north carolina is part of the fourth circuit, the ruling does put the fate of that state's bathroom law in doubt. alison: a

for this clerk who put up the fight of his life, those robbers fired two shots before fleeing this conner store last night, it happened at the copper grocery here on new lots avenue in east new york, look at this video, from inside the store, you can see the clerk struggling with one of the robbers who has a gun pointed in his face. the robber fires two shots and both of the men take off out the door. this happened after 11 inside the grocery store. one man emptys the cash drawer, the other keeps the gun focused on the cleg. the clerk decides to put up a struggle and fight back, the robber fires at hims hitting him twice. the 35 year old clerk was hit in the happened and the hip. the suspects did flee in a black honda. the clerk was taken to brook dale where he is listed in stable condition this morning. police are now looking for those two men. anyone with information is asked to call crime stoppers. >>> developing in jersey citying as suspect accused of stealing a car is in the front of a police station. officers tried to pull over the suspect after they say he stole the car from a near
