connor. >> garcia, you ran through the numbers. still, so much work to be done on several major wildfires. we're standing in pacific palisades, near one of the largest of all of those fires, the palisades fire. 3000 firefighters are working to put it out right now. but take a look at some of the aftermath. we're standing in what was a mobile home community right along the pacific ocean and these homes. and, i mean, all of these homes have been reduced to rubble and ash. we're going to zoom over just a little bit. you can see a car that was completely burned down to the engine block there. and when we zoom out to this entire community, you can see how vast the destruction is. not one home left standing in this community. and unfortunately, tragically, there are several other neighborhoods just like this around pacific palisades, blocks upon blocks of houses that have been destroyed, along with schools and people's businesses. people across los angeles returning to find their homes reduced to rubble. flames leveling entire neighborho

i'm connor hanson in los angeles county with a look at where these massive outside right now. the american flag flapping in the wind here as you take a live look from our camera pointing toward the golden gate bridge. southern california dealing with a lot to right now. so let's check in with ktvu meteorologist rosemary oroczo for a look at your forecast here and down south as well. rosemary. >> yeah. sandra garcia, we'll start here in southern california where it is still very, very dry. and the winds are gusting at this time. over at the palisades fire, relative humidity is 20%. the winds are gusting to 15mph or so. but as we've been talking about since the beginning, this is just one reading. if you notice, within those hills, mountains, canyons, you can see the topography here. it's really hard to tell just how quick those gusts are coming through parts of those canyons, as well as in the mountains. relative humidity at the eaton fire 15% and expected to remain between 10 and 20% over the next couple of days. so critically dry right now. the gusts there reported to 20mph.

connor hansen reporting in los angeles county. thank you for that. well, today and tomorrow, meteorologists are warning that weather conditions in southern california will be, quote, extremely critical. ventura valley to the san bernardino mountains could see wind gusts topping 50 miles an hour. red flag warnings have been issued for parts of ventura and los angeles counties. wildfires in los angeles county have now killed at least 24 people, including a 95 year old woman whose remains were found in her burned out altadena home. eaton is at 14,000 acres, the eaton fire. 14,000 acres and 27% contained. the palisades fire has burned nearly 24,000 acres and is 13% contained. >> our time now 505. a company in novato offering to help people whose computers may have been damaged or destroyed in the southern california wildfires. the company is called drivesavers. it's donating up to $1 million in free data recovery services to the fire victims. the company specializes in recovering data from hard drives, phones and damaged computers. but it also says some

in los angeles county, connor hansen ktvu, fox two news. >> we're getting dramatic new video showing the fight from the sky as crews battle the wildfires in southern california. pilots are flying their helicopters into the heart of the flames. this video, captured by a coulson aviation from inside the cockpit of one of its aircraft day and night. these crews entered the battle ready for precision water drops. coulson aviation, a canadian company, contracted year round to help fight fires in southern california as thousands of firefighters come together to help in southern california, others are stepping up to help as well. communities around the country participating in fundraising efforts to help fire survivors and firefighters who are working around the clock to contain the fires. we caught up with a group of friends who grew up around the palisades. a firefighter friend of theirs told them about some of the supplies they need to keep them going, so they gathered enough donations from locals and friends worldwide to keep the firefighters stocked with essentials. >> we've been told
