connor powell is live in our mideast bureau in jerusalem with more. connor? >> well, greg, in the last three years, egypt has seen a lot of changes. first the fall of hosni mubarak and morsi and then a coup that removed morsi. all the while they were racked by violence and deepening, growing political divisions. now the interim government there is saying that it will hold a presidential election before a parrel -- parrel men terry vote. they think the man behind the coup that removed morsi will run for president. general assisi. the poll will do little to end the political unrest. this weekend we saw at least 49 people killed and hundreds arrested as both pro and anti-military groups took to the streets marking the fall of mubarak. most of those killed and arrested were members of the muslim breer hood. they vowed to continue protests until the former president morsi is restored to power. morsi was ousted last july. since then egypt has been hit by a wave of violence which the military blames on the brotherhood. they deny responsibility and even though many e
