over 51 inches of rain and that is a record for the continental united states. that is a close up shop. this closes down and see, houston is on the right quadrant , this is over here. this is where the heaviest weather is so, beaumont is being passed towards lakes charles. houston will still see showers but with that said, new orleans and louisiana lake charles, the heavy rain moves into the louisiana area. the big story is that the storm that has been lingering dropping from 2 to 4 feet and even five feet of rain over the last couple of days, as you look at the forecast, it pushes it as a tropical storm up to the coast and then it runs, these are all the forecast models so it goes right to the heart of louisiana and they will get heavy rain as well. when i come back, we will put all of your weather together because we have a big fire burning near forbes town and in our heat, the heat advisory is coming up and it will play into some firefighting efforts and that will be an issue for firefighters. we will talk about the next when i see you next. >>> messages of s
