we start with breaking news out of contra costa where crews working to put out a fire in bay point.ire starts about one this afternoon at the former concord naval weapons station. deborah is live with the latest. >> reporter: we are on port chicago highway and we are alongside the burn area. crews have finally turned the corner on this fire. they held it to 90 acres and now it's 90% contained. take a look from news chopper 2. its been a tough four hour fire fight because of the stiff winds. they have been gusting up to 20 miles an hour at times, whipping up the flames and caution spot fires every time crews thought they had a handle. 60 firefighters arrived, plus an aarea tack with water and retardant. this fire started on the naval weapons land and there is a federal chemical plant but it was not threatened neither were the homes in the area. although residents in the neighborhoods are told if they are sensitive to smoke they should stay inside. close their windows until the air quality has improved. we have seen the worst of this fire in bay point. reporting live >> let's turn to
