valley high school in antioch will now be tested for tb after the first case reported on a contra costa county campus in four years. the 200 or so students who shared a classroom or in a club with that student will be the ones tested. the county said the case was confirmed march 25th, then the decision was made to alert families. spring break was here so it took a while to get the information out. tuberculosis is an airborne bacterial in fact of the lungs spread when someone coughs, sneezes or talks. the risk of acceleration from infection to disease is about 10%. some parents understandably concerned this morning while health services is trying to get accurate information out. >> i almost didn't let him come to school today, because everything is kind of vague. it's a tunstudent. we don't know who or what class. he has all his shots, though. >> i'm not real worried about it. the city is pretty good letting me know when something happens. >> it's unlikely they would get an infection with tb but we are really wanted to make sure that anyone who was possibly exposed gets a test to determine whet

kron 4' charles clifford has more. >> last january, the contra costa county fire protection district closed down fire stations in lafayette, walnut creek, clayton and martinez. that left just 24 full time stations in operation across the county. the district now says, they need to shutter two more stations in order to balance their 2013/2014 budget. district officials say that because of shrinking tax revenues and the failure of a ballot measure last november, the district was left no choice but to make cuts. the closing of the four fire stations will save the district between 6 and 8 millions dollars next year, but residents will see reduced services and slower response times. and now the district says it needs to make more cuts. the plan is to close one station next july and another next january. what they don't yet know, is which stations will close. the district's board of directors is set to meet on may 7th to address the issue and schedule public hearings on the plan in the newsroom, charles clifford kron 4 news. demolition of the dome theater in pleasant hill. is now being put
