this is video sent to us by the contra costa county fire department. right now firefighters are mopping up hot spots and keeping a close eye on any flare ups. one person suffered minor injuries and a total of four people were in the home when the fire started. fire fighters say everyone inside the home was outside when firefighters arrived on scene. the started at about 3:45 this morning on spring brook road in walnut creek. fire investigators haven't been able to get inside to see what caused the fire. but they did tell us one of the people who got out was found laying in front of the home because of mobility issues, they had to get that person away from the home.no other homes were damaged by this fire. but as you can see the home is still smoldering which is why firefighters expect to be out here for a few more hours. reporting live in walnut creek, lydia pantazes kron4 news.
