there are two areas of convection or thunderstorms, one across the southeast. this caused half dozen tornadoes georgia moving southeast. i'm looking at the storms running through chicago and ohio valley moving quickly 50 miles per hour. that's arriving before daybreak tomorrow. future tracker showing 5:30 tomorrow morning, heavy rain, embedded thunderstorms across the region. we have a break in the action with lighter rain, peeks of sunshine, but that will destabilize the atmospheres. that's about 2:30 and it's the greatest threat of severe weather. as far as rain, an inch or two wouldn't be a big deal but this is the third storm in a week. locally heavily flooding is possible, creeks, streams and rivers. we have a risk of severe weather. the highest risk in the area is new castle county area south and extreme southern new jersey. any storm has the potential for damaging winds, hail and the isolated tornado. we talk about the threats and what's behind it in the full forecast. jim? >> thank you, cecily. the storms pack a powerful punch throughout the south today
