parts of conway are under rauwa.city was expecting some kind of flooding and over the weekend they thought main street would floot flod but the here. as the water continues to creep into these residents' homes here. good news in all of this it seem to have stabilized for now. the river was rising at a rate of two feet per day since we got here earlier this week. last night it was about a foot. it's still increasing. we are nearing 20 feet, level of 20 feet on the river and that is causing all of this here. what is essentially happening in this subdivision two body of water. a swamp and a river converging and causing problems like this. residents for the most part, in this area have been able to get out. they secured their belongings but others yesterday as we understand it from the national guard and the local emergency management that were getting water assist so they were able to get out of their homes but not without assistance from the local authorities. this is going to be the scene in georgetown about 40 miles

we're still keeping an eye around conway.k it's expected to stay in major flood stage. we actually don't expect to get back normal levels for a while because of all of the water. each as florence exited -- even as florence exited, it was still able to pull the moisture. the concern is going to be additional rain chances once we get to monday and tuesday. this isn't the only spot that we're concerned about for flooding. believe it or not, we've had other areas including texas and oklahoma. look at the amount of rain that has fallen in the last 36 hours, 14, even 15 inches in portions of south central oklahoma. that's not the only area, though. we've also had arkansas pick up areas of very heavy rainfall. the concern going forward is look at where we have all of these flood watches, flood warnings, even flash flood warnings in effect because of the amount of rain. dallas-fort worth, by the way, seven inches they picked up yesterday actually pushed them over the threshold to be the wettest september on record. and diane, when yo
