i am joined by texas senator john corman who is a member of the budget committee. good morning. good to be with you >> what did you expect to hear tonight? >> the problems the president has is two-fold. one is a crisis of creditability and the other is a crisis of competence. he is deciding to do things he said you cannot do in a separation of institutions. he is giving up on work together and going alone. but there is not much he can do other than the superficial sorts of action like raising the minimum wage for certain federal workers >> i would imagine he will say the white house tried to work with the republican and they have stonewalled everything he has tried. >> they might say that. but again, that is the biggest problem the white house has now. people don't believe them anymore after the president promised if you like it you can keep it with your health care and the other promises that have been made. the republicans have been willing to work with the white house but have been shutout of the process. the house passed hundred pierces of legislation that will grow the econ
