abc7 news reporter cornell bernard has the story. >> the wreckage is hauled away from the scene of anrash that prompted a large police response. the sound of the impact woke most of the santa rosa neighborhood. lisa santana called 9 9-1-1. >> i saw the police officer and i said there is already somebody here. >> the chp says the car was seen speeding through the west side. >> they sent a police department unit to observe the vehicle and believe a short pursuit ensued. >> it reached 80 miles an hour. >> it was traveling so fast that it slammed into the concrete barrier toppling it and overturned into the field. his family says he was native american and a member of the pomo indians. two other people suffered critical injuries. they don't know who was driving and why the car was speeding or if drugs or alcohol played a role. there have been many charges. >> it sounded like metal smashing. >> the police officer was not injured and the chp is now investigating the case. in santa rosa, abc7 news. >>> you are looking at where two young women from the south bay died when their mazda was ramm
