two lieutenant jeremy dove, corporal mike harbaugh and patrolman nicolas sands responded to what seemed to be a routine traffic stop. as they approached the stopped vehicle, lieutenant dove, and patrolman sands were shot in the line of duty. across the state dedicated officers like knew ten land dove and patrolman sands answer the call to protect and serve. putting the safety and well-being of their fellow west virginians first. this week lieutenant dove, corporal harbaugh, and patrolman sands put on their uniforms, and returned to work. lieutenant dove and patrolman sands, please stand so we may thank you for your service and thank you for the commitment you have to west virginia.
