costa county sheriff. the commander, and the bay state area falls under my operation. we were notified there was a fire and we had multiple units and the office of the sheriff respond with pittsburg pd, a half mile radius went into the jurisdiction of altamont pass. we were able to evacuate 1400 homes and 4,000 individuals in a short amount of time. we set up evacuation sites at pittsburg bart station and the calvary temple church, two locations that individuals at bay point live in those areas and were able to respond. we have many individuals who don't have means of transportation to leave the area. we contacted it. ridelta transit. they responded with three buses and gave transportation for individuals who have no means of transportation. we have nonambulatory individuals, and the fire unit responded and they were able to assist those individuals that needed medical assistance or any type of assistance out of the area in there. we also were able, at pittsburg pd was able to bring the drone tv out, that drone is capable of detecting a heat source and give us temperat

( darya ) a visitor to the oakland zoo ended up on the wrong side of the safety railing outside the tiger enclosure after dropping his sunglasses.. in cell phone video you can see ginger the tiger approaching the man and he then seems to change his mind and returns to the proper side of the railing. zoo officials say the man should have contacted zoo staff and not tried to retrieve them himself, especially with four tigers on the other side of the chain link fence.
