there are multiple police agencies out here including contra costa county county sheriff, alameda county sheriff's, bart and walnut creek police all with specialties in bomb search and rescue. they are looking for anything suspicious. this all began two days ago when two-foot long pvc pipes with a detonator and fuse were discovered. bomb squats safely detonated those two pipes then. earlier today, a third suspicious pipe was discovered on a pathway by a man who was walking through the park. now, police were called in immediately and closed down this park. >> the area was sealed off and the walnut creek bomb squad was called out to assess the device that was found. the walnut creek police department used their robot, moved the device and subsequently rendered it safe. there is going to be a soccer tournament starting here tomorrow a two-day event. and it's going to be in the fields behind me. and again, that does heighten our concern that there are going to be hundreds of kids out here playing soccer. that is why we've gone to the lengths of calling in our allied agencies to come out and
