you guys were talking about costco.umbers are just terrific here. 17% above the same period last year for their earnings. gross margins were up. lower gas prices helped the margins. fee income was up 6%. these are great metrics. look at the stock here. it's taken off in the last four or five months. 125 or so. now up 145. here's the problem i have with costco. it's expensive. look at forward earnings projections right now. we're at 27 or so on costco. this is a problem with a number of these consumer names. they're all expensive. target is at 22. home depot at 22. so costco is not alone. kroger is relatively modest. walmart is only 17. that's a real modest one overall. i think this is a bit of an issue for a lot of these stocks going into the end of the year. speaking of the end of the year, we are pushing ipos. this is it, folks. this week and a little bit of next week, they're going to try to get a number of big names through. the big one tonight right here at the new york stock exchange. lending club. this is the big
