i took out every seat cushion, looked in the seat, in the couch, under the couch, under the bed. the ring was nowhere to be found. at one point victoria's mom noticed that she hadn't been wearing the ring and asked about it. victoria said, "oh, mom. i've got it put away in a real safe place."
