county. i think with the rest of the vote coming up that were cast today will be most republican friendly, yes will tick up, and noble tick down, but it's hard to see no ticking down far enough below the mid to low 60s. the know is getting the huge, guy attacked gantt, enormous kind of numbers that that side wanted to get. we are seeing that in johnson county, we're seeing that in county after county in the state. what we have been waiting for here as i said liken johnson county in the state, you get that early vote, then the same day vote comes in. the same-day vote will be more republican and more conservative, presumably more supportive of yes so, you do expect to see these numbers tighten somewhat. but we're looking for a county where we do have all the vote. there are someone we do have all the vote in franklin county. it's not a huge county but i think this could be telling. joe biden in 2020 got 29.6% of the vote in franklin county. now joe biden statewide in kansas in 2020 got 41% of

democratic counties. a good example here, shawnee county, this is where the capital is, this is where it topeka. as you are looking at the mail vote, early votes, and no is at 70%. to put that into some perspective, joe biden carried this county but only by three points in 2020. a good benchmark here for the no side is, they generally want to be running about ten points better than biden did. because biden got 41% in kansas in 2020, so generally speaking, if no is running ten points better than that, it could position no for a victory here. so the county like shawnee, if the number lance, if the no number lands at the end of the night, at about 60% or so, that is probably a good showing for now. but 60 or above is a good showing. so the question now is, we've got the mail vote, we've got the early vote, we are gonna get the same day votes in shawnee county. how far is that no come down? this is just come down to the mid 60s? low 60s? that will be good for now. does it come down under 60? so the high 50s?

county. it is almost identical. trump won this county 63 to 34%. now, this district as a whole went for joe biden by two points in 2020. for ryan basically to be matching the biden number. if he could do that across the district, remember biden won it by two, if ryan is matching it in a republican county, that is about where he wants to be. it gives you an indication of how close this is shaping up to be. so the two key counties i think this really gonna start to come down to. number one is right down here. this is ulster county, this is the largest county in the district of all the votes in the district are going to come out of ulster county. this is ryan's base, he is the county executive in ulcer county. you can see, just compare again, most democratic county in the district, biden got 60% of it. that was in 2020. ryan currently is getting about 67% of the vote. largely what is still being counted up in ulster county is the same day vote. so this ryan number is going to continue to come do

molinaro is the county executive in dutchess county.dynamics that we are watching as these final numbers start to come in we'll start here in dutchess county, malingerers base. you see molinaro now has opened up a lead here of about two and a half points over ryan. there are more votes to come, it is same-day votes that are being reported out here. mola nero has been winning the same day vote in dutchess county. this is where molinaro has made his biggest gain in the district just in terms of raw votes. biden carried the duchess county portion of this district in 2020. mola nero is on his way to carrying it tonight. so this is going to be -- just given the size of this county, it is about one sixth of the district in terms of the votes that it produces. so that swing, trump getting 47%, molino is at 51%. that could prime to 52 or 53. that is his biggest single game tonight probably, anywhere in this district over what donald trump did. if molinaro is able to win tonight, this will probably be why. that leaves the big remaining question

we have one county now with some of its results. this is shawnee county.an see it's worth a peek at the state capital, you can say that no is doing extremely well in this early report. but there is some key context and i think you need to keep this in mind as these results come in, potentially come in, slowly in kansas tonight. kansas allows for and has extensive vote by mail, and early voting, in a lot of the big counties in kansas. and this includes shawnee county, which you are seeing right here on the screen. reports out that mail votes in that early vote first. later on throughout the night, the same day vote, the folks that went out to vote it in person today, those votes get added in. we have seen this in 2020, vote by mail especially is a heavily, heavily democratic type of vote. this has been true in state after state. whereas the same day votes, the vote in person, same day at the, pose it will be counted later, in a county like shawnee, that tends to be much more republican. so take this 70 30 no and shawnee with a grand assault. are little more
