we now have 49 counties total. we've added beard orange and oceola counties.nd so, you know, pretty much that top of the state all the way into central florida may be excluding some of the farther western panhandle counties. but there's a huge number of counties that are going to feel impacts from this and we want to make sure they're able to do what they need to do. we're proud of all the staging that's been done particularly for power restoration. we're now at over 25,000 linemen as of this morning, that is going to be over 30,000, approaching 40,000 by the end of today. and the goal is when the power and you are going to lose power. if you're in the path of this storm, you should assume that that's going to happen. and the goal is going to be rapid restoration of power. some of the parts where this storm is projected to go are a lot of trees there going to be a lot of branches, a lot of trees, there's going to be a lot of power lines down. just expect that there's a lot of manpower that's going to go to address it, but it's definitely going to be something

yes, it happened in fulton county. fulton county will hold him to account. issue that he cannot pardon himself in georgia because these are state crimes? in most states, the governor could pardon him, but not in georgia. this goes back to decades ago klan governor who is so corrupt that he was selling pardons, so the state of virginia took the pardon ability out of his hands and gave it to pardons and parole board. can you talk about the significance of this? so even if there was a republican governor who supported him, that person could not pardon trump. >> if he is convicted in this state, he is going to jail for a minimum of five years. he is going to jail. and the other conspirators that are part of this case. the bottom line, there is no pardon process. he has been indicted in four different cords. what you see here is the inability in georgia for him to be pardoned. so he -- georgia, i think, has -- i think it is a place he has the biggest problem. it is also the place he was very, very comfortable committing a crime. this is a man that said he wanted

this is the county jail in fulton county georgia, which is a jail that is under federal civil rights investigation, it is a notorious jail, there have been horrific deaths in custody there, including a recent very high-profile one of a prisoner, i don't like the term inmate for complicated reason, but a prisoner who is found in the psych ward essentially, in the fulton county jail dead and with a terrible insect infestation. this is a facility that is decrepit and the fulton county georgia sheriff has asked for two billion dollars, effectively, to build an entirely new facility because this place is such a disgrace and is so dangerous. donald trump is likely to have a very quick pass through in his experience there, but that is the facility that he is in. they did not put him somewhere tidy for this part of the process, and that itself says a lot about what it means to be subject to the criminal suspect and be seen as it treated like a citizen, rather than a vip. >> to amplify the point you are making, it is actually kind of remarkable to watch a former president have to submit to st

the capacity of the fulton county jail, 2,688.ut as of april, this is according to the state of georgia, it housed 3,221 inmates. that's about 120% capacity. seven inmates have died there this year. 15 died last year. we have some images of just the horrible conditions. grime, dirt all over the place, toilets overflowing, air-conditioning broken. lice, bed bugs, other insects everywhere. look at that. it's just absolutely horrible. now, one notorious case from last year, this young man, lashaun thompson, found dead in his cell last september. 35 years old. his lawyers and the medical examiners say he died from neglect, malnourishment, other horrible conditions. but it was also he was found with bed bugs and lice just infesting his body. his lawyers released images of his cell. look at that. just absolutely deplorable conditions, jake. another anecdote that we can tell you, last year as we just put up some more of these images of what this place looks like inside. last year at a public meeting law enforcement officers wheeled into

jackson -- i believe that the county is sort of a reaction to jackson. jackson is in hinds county.is majority black and there's hostility toward jackson and rankin is like a white enclave that is next to jackson and it is set up almost like a political, social, a thesis against jackson. they are clearing rankin post of just 20 minutes away from jackson, mississippi, just like these deputies said, they did not want any black men living in the area. the mere fact there were black and in this area that they were going to carry out this mission and let them know that they were not welcome and they're going to violate all laws and break in is because they have determined, i believe these deputies and others, in this county, have determined that rankin county is for whites and hinds county is for blacks and they're going to enforce it under the color of law through violence and torture. not to mention, especially on this program, we cannot forget waterboarding. waterboarding was where the united states military was condemned for using these techniques at abu ghraib prison in the iraq war

let's just underscore what this moment -- this is the county jail in fulton county, georgia. which is a jail that is under federal civil rights investigation. it is a notorious jail. there have been horrific deaths in custody there, including a recent one, a high-profile one of a prisoner, i don't like the term inmate for complicated reasons. but a prisoner who was found on the psych ward effectively, inside the fulton county jail, dead and with a terrible insect infestation. this is a facility that is decrepit and the fulton county, georgia, sheriff has asked for $2 billion effectively to build an entirely new facility because this place is such a disgrace and it's so dangerous. donald trump is likely to have a very quick pass through in his experience there, but that is the facility that he is in. and they did not put him somewhere tidier for this part of the process. and that itself says a lot about what it means to be subject to the criminal justice system and treated like a citizen rather than a vip. >> the point you were making, just to amplify it, it is actually kind o
