courtney reagan joins us with the latest on what could soon be called black thursday, courtney. >> exactly scott? 11 days until black friday. for some retailers black friday is actually ten days away. which, yes, makes it thanksgiving thursday. retail competition getting aggressive with the timing of door busters. lord & taylor opening the flag ship manhattan foundation from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on thanksgiving day as the macy's thanksgiving parade marches blocks away. sears, members can shop door busters as early as sunday, november 18th online. walmart's door busters 8:00 p.m. thursday and progressively roll out from there. toys r us which had one of the earliest openings last year will open 8:00 p.m. thanksgiving ooefgening and remain open throughout the fight. for the first time ever sports authority will open most of its stores at midnight. as far as the financial impact of black friday most analysts say it just shifts timing of when consumers make purchases. 40% of holiday sales are typically made in the last ten days before christmas. every year black friday sales seem to move ea

i'm courtney reagan at laguardia airport.ngs look vastly better today than they did yesterday but things are still a little behind schedule after returning to business 49 hours after closed due to the storm. us airways is landing just one flight late today. jetblue not flying at all in or out of laguardia. southwest expects to fly about 50% of a normal schedule. american plans to run close to 100% but their first flight did not depart until noon. delta had the very first flight off the ground this morning shortly after 7:00 a.m. and in 15 flights take off by 9:40 a.m. >> we'll be up to about 70% of our full schedule today, which we started -- we had the flights coming in. we're now ramping back up but we will be at full schedule tomorrow. >> reporter: getting the employees to the airport has been a little difficult for all of the three major airports. delta said it had to get kind of creative. united actually flew in a couple hundred employees from houston to help out here at laguardia today. back to you. >> courtney reagan o
