i'm courtney donohoe.his is bloomberg. ♪ geopolitical strategy strategist and global strategyox -- of fx are with us. asking about the dollar, the federal reserve meeting later in the week. we had the ecb and the president's comments, this geopolitical risk will be priced and ultimately at some point. what should we read into the dollar strength this week? >> not a lot. it is the start of a week and the dollar index is down 0.2%. , -- to lastnt week's losses. overvalued.as been in 2017 and parts of 2018, trading at fair value but now seems to be stretching towards 10% over value based on our estimates, which means that it is likely to push the dollar lower. there is a safe haven aspect to the dollar and that is keeping ,t against cyclical currencies relatively stronger than it should be. perspective, irm think you want to be short the dollar. i am not entirely how much juice is in that trade. in terms of other currencies, we will be fluctuating. view, a six to nine month the fed will be in an easing cycle.
