jeff solomon cowen & company ceo. let's start with, i'm intrigued now. equity market structure. about that? >> well, i think, i mean, we've been talking for a little over a couple of years about how crazy the equity market structure has gotten in terms of fast speeding, electronic trading, high frequency trading and how basically we've gotten away from fundamental investing in the equity markets. and so, there's a movement afoot, later on, actually beginning of next month, to have a roundtable discussion at the s.e.c. about a widening tick increments, adding bid offer spreads for small cap stocks and a way to try to drive liquidity back into the small cap market. >> my question is, if we did see a return of the individual investor and just more interest in the stock market, i argue was very low, still, even though we're getting close to highs on the -- >> i agree. >> i still think it's low. wouldn't that solve a lot of the problems without doing anything, if the individual investor came back? and, or is it a chicken/egg thing, where because of the unfair perceived unfair playing
