investigators say it happened at 2:30 at crabtree valley mall. wral's candace sweat tells us investigators are looking at all avenues including mobile phone video and what happened. employees and customers walked away from the mall..scared, confused. while police ran into the mall...determined to find any possible danger still inside. me and my coworker, we heard the sound and he pulled me down and we just ran out and when we got out . several people reported hearing what sounded like gunshots shortly after 2:30 coming from the food court area. after that.. chaos. we ran in the back of the shoe store and from until the police got us out. in large groups, people were escorted out of the mall..many with their hands above their heads. several others embracing...not knowing exactly what they might have been in danger of. i'm just glad i got out, and just glad that the first thing i saw getting out was my dad. raleigh police chief cassandra deck- brown tells us investigators have not ruled anything out at this point. we're looking at all possibilities
