. >> host: joining at the table a familiar face to c-span viewers craig crawford political blonder. craigcrawford dhaka, is where you are writing these days. we wanted to get your take first on what we just talked about. it is the president's push out west this week the new economic drive as "the new york times" puts it. will this president eight? >> guest: it's part of an overall strategy going back to congress he lead allowed to realize now he proposed a big bill he knew they wouldn't pass. now you're breaking up into little pieces tina wasn't going to pass for the routine in a way that keeps moving these things on the floor of the senate and then seeing them fail. but this strategy is the republic is not doing anything. it's against jobs. now the next phase of the strategy is to come out with incremental executive orders, different things he can do without congress to show that he is waking up every day worrying about jobs and so there will be incremental things but they will give students a break on pay back their student loans and help homeowners refinance and did veterans jobs
