back to sam champion in the floods of cranston, rhode island. bianna standing on the steps of 19 fletcher avenue. if you look up fletcher it's completely flooded as far as you can see. you may remember this shot from yesterday when we were right here when a family here and it was sean, carrie and 2-year-old son braden rescued by boat from this house here and taken down to where the camera is where it's a little drier. this is the -- the water is coming down a little bit. i have to walk gently and delicately because i'll come off the curb in a second. good news for this area. what happens with tributaries, they're draining the water into the main river so the idea here is the main river this flows into, the pawtuxet will not crest for awhile yet and it's going to be an incredible record crest. more than 20 feet, we think. 5 feet above the last record crest that was just 2 weeks ago. quick look at the board, warm-up for the east coast, midwest has had warm temperatures. we get into friday will be in e many places including right here with a temper

we know that's the same story in cranston. there are many, many stories about where the flooding is happening right now. i certainly can't get to all of them. i'd love to go to cnn.com/ireport. maybe even do a video for us. something that's narrated. we can try to get it on tv. the rain has stopped. the rain is over. the rain is completely gone. at least the next five days. this is 48 hours worth of rainfall. it's all offshore. maybe if you are a gloucesterman, you might get some rain. but the land will not see any more rainfall. and that will eventually allow the water to run off. but as you see the bubbles, they come down the river and sometimes these bubbles still have a lot more energy as the rainfall comes down and has come down. it has to run down. there is going to be a huge warm-up for you. this high pressure. it might be 80 degrees in new england by the weekend. so the -- all of a sudden, what was punxsutawney phil's greatest adventure because it really did last, six more weeks of winter. it's all over and here comes
