, walnut creek, there were many.derstorm activity favoring areas to the south and lake tahoe for the most part. so far not enough fog to say we will drop 20 degrees but it looks like it will be 5 to 7 degrees cooler for those away from the coast and more than that for those on the coast. half moon bay at 50, brentwood 77. 80 pittsburg, the concord pavilion at 70, 67 moraga, martinez almost 70 so not much relief yet. 50s, 60s, 70s and 90s near las vegas. thunderstorms going bonkers in arizona but not making it into the california desert. the fog will take a turn and begin to form but cooling for some but still very warm to hot and some well above average for this time of the year. getting temperatures to near average and below is a tall order inland. the trend is taking this into tuesday and wednesday were temperatures will come down to seasonal averages for some which would be 89 for livermore and concord. santa rosa down a good 15 degrees, san jose down about 10 so it does look cooler if everything comes together. k
