but we had about 75% of average rain for crescent city and other spots in northern california that had at least 100% or the average amount of rain. we didn't do so well here in the bay area with 102% in san jose but oakland only had 72% of rain for the rainfall season so far. and then you go to central california where we've had over 100% of rain in many of those spots, except for fresno, where they've gotten 5 to 7 inches of rain throughout the winter season. heading to southern california, over 100% for all of those spots. l.a. had right at 100%. but we are still seeing an exceptional drought for most of southern and central california. and then here we've had the most amount of improvement, also in northern california, where we just now had abnormally dry conditions and then you head over towards the east bay and south bay where we have still a severe drought going on. so still a lack of rainfall and, of course, there's no rain in the forecast for this weekend. no measurable rain as the temperatures come down. 60s and 70s all across the bay. looking like a very pleasant weekend. kri

they are on the move from crescent city to san diego. we have some fog and low clouds. 52. average is 64. they have not had a high of 64 or higher since may 5th. if you live or work in the city, it wasn't bad yesterday at at&t. below average. 66 already in brentwood. for some it will be on the warm side. for others it will be on the cool side. but a decent del spare the air breeze today, more so than yesterday, which leads me to believe inland temps won't warm up that much. that low is coming in for friday and saturday and it's going to give us a cool-down inland and drizzle and light rain. the big screaming message for the inland temps will be a big drop from the 80s to maybe the upper 60s or low 70s. that would be on saturday. so get ready here. another low dropping in means big change by the weekend. a little rebound on sunday you guys. >> all the locals are saying this is the weather i am used to. >> thank you, steve. >>> the summer trial season is around the corner. what should have you in your pocket. >> plus, more and more people are spending money back and forth

just northeast of lake county or right in the lakeport area, northern california, eureka, crescent cityning. the sierra, not too bad. it has tapered off here, but scattered showers remain in the forecast for the sierra. if you're going to tahoe this morning or into the afternoon, check the roadways. there was a winter weather advisory yesterday and they had to shut down the roadway at some point, freeway, because of slick roads and spinouts. so for today here at home, scattered showers will be in the forecast. we are going to remain on the cool side for this time of year. temperatures will be in the upper 50s to upper 60s. when i come back, we'll have a look at afternoon highs, pull out the future cast model, take a look and try to pinpoint some of the showers, although it's going to be very difficult. they are going to be very spotty, hit and miss. more on that and a look at your sunday forecast, coming up in just a bit. >>> well, happening today, the next stage of the amgen tour of california kicks off this morning in santa rosa. >> some video here of the tours that moved through fols
