crissy field, where i am standing right now what was not even here. that was filled in the 1870s. the golden gate bridge was still 70 years from being opened, and the nation was in the middle of a civil war. from a wildfire risk perspective back here, a dry february followed by a wet march is not always ideal because you get those seasonal grasses that rapidly grow, but our rainfall deficit has really primed older vegetation to burn. look at this time lapse. we had a wildfire in tahoe national forest. this is about 120 acres. and it's called the antelope fire. it's a little bit unnerving to see this kind of activity so early in the year. now i'm going bring in meteorologist sandhya patel. she is going to try and find any changes headed our way in the next seven days. >> i wish i could tell you it's definitive. we have rain coming. i'm going to tell you why it's not so definitive. check out this live picture from our santa cruz camera where people are enjoying president's day in santa cruz. it's really unseasonably warm here in santa cruz and other parts of the bay area as well. lo

temperatures from 45 in the sunset, lake merced to bayview, crissy field, excelsior, 50.o downtown, about 45 degrees there. we have 48 in daly city with thick fog. pleasanton thick fog and 47. same thing, thick fog in american canyon and about 36. san mateo bridge, at least on the eastern side, hayward, we're looking to the west, we can't look more than a couple hundred feet. that's your biggest issue driving around this morning. cool but then warm this afternoon if you're taking mass transit. foggy spots on the bay, hazy sunshine this afternoon. for the peninsula, fog this morning. mid 60s from 1:00 to 6:00. east bay valleys, thicking from until about 9:00. 45 to 64 to 70s this afternoon for a couple hours. and the same thing down in the south bay. we'll be in the mid to upper 60s for the better part of the afternoon, nearing 70 in a few neighborhoods from 2:00 to 3:00. we'll see if this warmth lasts coming up. jobina? >> first off, we have a crash to talk about on the san mateo bidge involving two cars here. one lane is blocked. this is westbound 92 at the high rise. sp
