versha, cristela makes a good point.l laws. it's so antiquated this policy. i looked into it for research purposes so i know how it works. what's your take on this, versha? >> i really applaud the senate democrats here because what they're doing is really just trying to hold president biden accountable for a campaign promise. biden said during the campaign that he believes anybody who's incarcerated for a cannabis-related conviction should be let out of jail. he believes that these records should be expunged, and so what senator warren and her colleagues are saying is he has the executive authority to do that right now. he can -- he doesn't have to wait for congressional infighting or policy to get legislation to pass, he actually has executive authority to make important change right now and just like you said, tiffany, it is an easy win for him, and it would help his approval ratings among young people, especially among progressives for sure, and i think that easy win as well as it being the right thing to do is incred
