ktvu's cristina rendon is talking with officials and witnesses. >> she joins us live now. >> reporter: we have been here at travis air force base since 3:00 p.m. this afternoon. there was a steady stream of cars leaving the area. right now everyone has cleared out. only few people remain all because of this plane crash. we want to mention we were updated saying a press conference will be held at 5:30 p.m. let's take you now to the photos from witnesses. these are pictures before and after that plane crash. the instant happened at 2:00 p.m. this afternoon and we immediately called travis air force base and we were told they had limited information but a plane crashed by doing maneuvers. the pilot was doing a trick and he got too close to the ground. that is when the plane crashed upside down and started skidding on the runway and they won't confirm whether or not the pilot died. on the schedule we are told it was a pilot scheduled to form. we talked to his best friend. >> tried to do a pass, it didn't happen, when we came back the plane got too low -- [ indiscernible ] >> one of my bes

ktvu's cristina rendon is live outside of the courthouse with the first video of the mother. good afternoon, christine. >> reporter: afternoon. we can tell you when we were in there it was very brief appearance for the mother, surrounded by her family, friends and attorney. the d.a.'s office didn't file charges. that's because they don't have enough evidence to prove she did anything wrong, they say. she went before a judge only to have the d.a.'s office ask for a three to four-week extension so they can continue to investigate. then adams told me he hired a private investigator who told me the boy in the incident is making the story up. she was arrested last week after she allegedly grabbed the 12-year-old by the throat because she believes he was bullying her daughter. this incident happened at olivet elementary in santa rosa. the sheriff's office said the boy had red marks on his neck and she may have targeted the wrong attorney. but her attorney said she did nothing wrong. the attorney is calling the boy a liar and blaming the call for not taking care of the situation. >>
