cristina rendon has more. >> reporter: well, good afternoon, brian. we want to tell you that the agencies involved admit they just did not look and overlooked 200 feet of contaminated creek. you can see that the crews, those were the trucks where they were cleaning up that portion of the creek. east bay m.u.d. says since it had sat there the wet mixture has solidified into what they call a light, foamy cellular concrete. we shot this video about about an hour ago. the sound you hear is the solidified portions crackling and making their way through the vacuum tube. this new stretch of damage is about 150 to00 feet long and about 3 feet wide. it sits upcreek from where crews were cleaning yesterday. but it's still below the valve that was left open when this pour initially happened. now, we're told that because it has solidified, crews are chipping away at the foamy concrete so it can be sucked out. east bay m.u.d. said they are getting mans to make sure they are doing a complete survey of all of this damaged area. also, a spokesperson for fish and wild

cristina rendon, channel 2 news. >>> tracking nice weather around here.this weather system right to the south but it was up here. working its way it's going to go right south of the bay area. south of los angeles and into baja. this system will drop in. at one point the models thought it would loop around. there's fog on the coast or patchy fog. you can see patches of it over here. let's look for patchy coastal fog as you get going. it's friday tomorrow so looks like a nice looking friday except for the fog right along the coast. you have it up to pigeon point. current temperatures are mild. it'll be cool again tonight. mid-30s, upper 30s in the come spots. what you had last night it'll be slightly warmer but not much. the same chill factor will be in there going as you head out the door tomorrow. so 37 in santa rosa but you will find 33 if you go east of town. so it's going to be cool again tomorrow. you end up at 67 degrees for daytime highs. this warming trend will continue. of course that's what i'm going to talk about when i come back. 71degrees tomo
