this is the crown colony condominiums right off 280 right as you exit hickey boulevard. i just interviewed a sergeant with daly city police and he tells me it was actually the father who used his own cell phone to call 911 about 2:30 this morning. that's what prompted all of the police officers and fire department and ambulances to come to this condominium complex. that's when the father about 2:30 this morning and the son got into a fight and that's when the son stabbed his father. >> the officers responded to the scene and they saw that the dad had multiple stab wounds and the son had trauma to his head. we're not sure where he was stabbed yet. we think it's a knife. i can't confirm that at this point. he was definitely stabbed with some type of sharp object. >> reporter: now both have been transported to san francisco general hospital where police say they are recovering with nonlife threatening injuries. we do have video of at least one of them being transported on a gurney this morning. we also have video of a white car that was parked underneath in the garage here with blood stains inside that car. police are

city, a fight between a father and son turned deadly. janine de la vega has more on who is being treated for stab wounds after this altercation. >> reporter: we are here at the crownony apartments and police just left the scene and are now headed to the hospital where both father and son are. they are investigating a stabbing that occurred inside one of the apartments. i just spoke with police, around 2:00 a.m. they received a call from inn sued the apartment and they said it was between him and the father and a fight broke out between him and the son and when they arrived they found the son was stabbed multiple times. we are still not sure where he was stabbed and we also know the son received some sort of blunt trauma to his head. both of them were transported to san francisco hospital and we are trying to find out if they have life-threatening injuries. as we head to the hospital, police want to talk to both the father and son and try to figure out who sparked this fight, who was the addresser and there are lots of questions still unanswered and neighbors were woken by police and we do know it appears to only involve the father and the son and we will have more
