the crozier fire. we're located at the base camp. you can see some of these maps up indicating what the fire zone is right now. now, we do know, of course, quite a few of activation orders and warnings are still in effect for the crozier fire. there was some growth overnight, but not as significant as the first night of the fire. cal fire says to still be aware of fire activity in the area. we know that low humidity hot daytime temperatures as well as gusty winds have all been a factor over the last couple of days in the explosive fire growth that we've seen on the crozier fire. so it's still good to be aware if you are within a warning zone. and cal fire now saying that if you are of located in an evacuation warning zone, they are suggesting that all people now take rock creek road. >> the roads to access this fire. one of the biggest that miscue road actually raskin. nobody to use it just because that one win one-lane bridge that's very challenging to get across. even just a regular car. let alone find so we ask everybody to use ro

similar conditions as you make your way toward the crozier fire. but overnight tonight you start to ramp up that moisture level. and there you go by tomorrow morning. you're talking about 60 plus percent in around some of those fires there in that is great to slow down activity of the fires. of course, again, by the afternoon temperatures start to soar again and the humidity will fall drastically by late in the day all around the bay area. air quality hasn't been all that bad. in fact, today, we're looking good out there right now. nice blue skies. you see the fog along the coastline, the center's well, we're all looking good right now. all in the green around the bay area just got one yellow center in the eastern part of slow county, but otherwise we're in the green outside. we're likely going to stay that that onshore wind again, that is also ramping up the humidity. the moisture in the atmosphere. it's also been a that smoke due east. and that means that continues in that direction. we're gonna stay clear mostly from that smoke. as we head over

we've got the crozier fire burning temperatures around. they're much more comfortable 70's and some 80's near placerville winds, not all that strong in and around that fire. generally in about the 5 mile per hour range. and that some good news for firefighters there. now, let's get you back to the bay area and the fire burning in the north bay near marine. would you can see right here, some stronger winds kicking in and that has a blow that fire down to the east. and as it does, we're seeing some westerly winds to 13 miles per hour. so yeah, that smoke may be an issue in place like san anselmo. you get those locations that we're going to likely see some of the smoke begin to filter in those directions specially we head through the night. that kind of settle down toward the surface. if you live in those areas might want to just kind of close the windows, just keep it out because that smoke settling in tonight, air quality, not bad around the bay area. a lot of green out there. i think by tomorrow, though, that fire remains active. we may ju

crozier fire also continuing to burn and that westerly component when although there's not much wind there, you've got winds for about 7 miles per hour and cooler temperatures in around that fire. that is always good news for firefighters trying to fight that fire as well. very interesting, though. you know, humidity is one of the big ways that we can really slow down this fire. and overnight tonight we're going to watch an increase in that, of course, the bay area you watch taking up near 100%. but then some of that moisture is making its way in around those fires by tomorrow morning. and so we're talking about in some cases much as 60% or so relative humidity and that we're really help to slow down the fires. of course, by the afternoon, those fires usually start to get very active. get the winds picking up. and of course, things get a lot drier in the afternoon. that's when the fires tend to run out there. right now. we do have some very nice conditions around the bay area looking good so far. in fact, air quality really not an issue around the bay area. most of us are looking at

the crozier fire, you see the monsoonal moisture rotating over there. the temperatures a cooler there as well. mainly in the 70's in and around that area. again, that is burning in the very area with vast amounts of fall force out there and pines and really difficult place for firefighters to fight those fires. by the way, there's a red flag warning up, seen some pretty good winds into the tahoe area. and so, yeah, they got a red flag warnings posted there as are going to see an increased the average of fire danger, humidity level still running a little bit low there as well. tonight, you can see down to 18, 19% or so in around that fire. even around chico, your 19% now overnight tonight you get that nice healthy sea breeze kicking in by tomorrow morning. you're talking about 50, maybe 60 percentile range around parts of those fires. that is some good news by the afternoon, though. again, you get that heat, the things these 2 things dry out, then we're back down in the teens as far as humidity. and so that's when the fires tend to get more active. the b

the crozier fire started one 30 yesterday morning near slate mountain. that's just northeast of plaster ville. cal fire says this fire is now more than 700 acres and is 5% contained the cause under investigation. and so far no one has been hurt. we do have some new video from the park fire as the state's 4th biggest wildfire ever continues to burn and sending massive amounts of smoke into the air. it's burned more than 427,000 acres remains. a 34% contained and about 600 buildings have been destroyed. and while fighting the park fire in the front lines of firefighter says he had his truck stolen and he needs help. now back. 21 year-old judy collins says he was sent out to the fire after parking his personal truck on the side of the road in redding. he says he had a sister go pick up his vehicle 5 days later. but when she got there, the truck was gone. colin says was later spotted, but he still needs help from the community to get it back. >> car was spotted at a walgreens in town. someone recognized the car from facebook posting they immediately called p
