so santa cruz, san rafael, seeing some moderate to heavy downpours. and if i zoom out, look at what is behind it. this is what our storm ranger is capturing. right here the line of showers and pockets of moderate to heavy downpour. off the coast, but eventually that will start to track in and as that does, you could see how that highlights those incoming cells moving to the bay area. so let me give you a time line as far as when that cell is expected to move in. by about 4:23, bodega bay will see heavy downpours and by 4:34, guerneville and then 4:44 windsor will see some downpours but if you have to be somewhere early, head out now because the roads get tricky. now to the traffic maps. i have the radar turned on for the traffic maps. the highlights green zeen is where it is raining or precipitation just passed. we're seeing light slowing along 280 but aside from that chp still reporting a quiet start to the morning. but you could already see the bay bridge, no lights yet but it is wet and raining. slow it down. hopefully no spinout this is morning. b
