i'm a fellow here at csis. this is maybe falling on -- following on to john's reference how the media treats iraq, covers iraq negatively. my impression is that there is the sentiment in the united states, strong desire to see iraq succeed. and, americans may feel some responsibility for success in iraq, understanding that we pulled back too on our responsibility and yet we spent a decade there and we want to know it was worth it, both for u.s. objectives and for iraqis themselves. so i guess i would ask you, what is, was it worth it to you to have the u.s. intervention? was it worth it to the average iraqi citizen? what are the benefits that iraqis may experience now despite all the challenges that came with intervention? . .

so this is a few seg:we are calling earnings csi, our own mike coc- koe goes under cover.rally very serious, a departure from right now. unusual activity call your stock. >> it was mgm. they will be reporting on the 29th. what i happened to notice is the put-to-call ratio, you look at different things, people were trading more puts than calls by about 50 to 60% today than they usually do in this stock an both of the two most active options were puts. the one that caughtpy eye is the may 22 puts, people are buying those for 45 cents. they're obviously making bearish bets. they will expire the third friday in may amount i think looking at this, though, i would probably be inclined to take a higher probability bet. and i would probably look to do the may 23, 21 put spread. you can spend 50 cents. you will make money before the other one breaks even. you will have to see the stocks move down materially for the others to get ahead. this is missing its move 11-and-a-half percent. >> that gets you down to 21 bucks or. so so you probably want to see the maximum profits there. >> t

so this is a new segment we're calling earnings csi and it's where mike goes through the data findingtock reporting earnings next week. it gives him a chance to tap into his inner david caruso looking generally very serious. usual activity, which stock caught your eye? >> it was mgm. they will be reporting on the 29th. you look for different kind of things. just a lot of options activity or whether the ratios change. people were trading more puts than calls by 50% or 60% today than they usually do in the stock. two the most active options were puts. the one that caught my eye was the may 22 puts. they're obviously making bearish bets going into earnings. these are going to expire the third friday in may. i think looking at this though i would probably be inclined to take a higher probability bet and i would probably look to do the may 23/21 put spread. you can spend 50 cents for that trade. you will start making money before the other one even breaks even. you have to see the stock move down materially for the other trade to get ahead. over the last several earnings, this thing has mo
