we know that swifties broke a bay area transit record friday, exceeding the cta's highest ever ridershipings to levi's stadium for the tour concert. now this was more than twice that of super bowl 50 and 2016. and to accommodate that increased ridership, vta ran 20 extra trains to the stadium for an added 30% capacity. so we are talking about a very large increase in ridership. we also know that both vta and bart extended their hours to accommodate the crowds going to the stadium again. we are still waiting to see what fines if any, the stadium will face for going past that 11 p.m. curfew. like i said in the past, when other performers have gone past that 11 p.m. curfew cut off time , they received a $1,000 fine. we're still waiting to hear back from the city. but again, the local police department said they didn't receive any noise complaints from people in the area. and talking to one woman off camera, she said, hey, when you have an entertainment venue in your backyard, this is kind of just par for the course. we're live this morning. dave detailing ktvu fox two news. dave that link.
