cullen browder toured some of the main trouble spots in harnett, cumberland, and hoke counties. our sky 5 tour starts in bare by the fast moving floodwaters, a pick-up truck once stuck here is towed out. utility trucks sliced through flooding on elliott bridge road like ships. brown water surrounded the new life worship life church. same story for a nearby home revealing a car port better suited for boats. next stop, long valley farm lake dam in cumberland county, not far from pope air field. fast moving water rushed out looking for other pl flood. moving on into fayetteville, medical arts pharmacy and its surrounding neighbors found themselves soaked. men in boats pulled cables in the parking lot. this sheriff's car won't be responding anytime soon, swallowed by water. finally, sky 5 flew into hoke county. flash flooding covered stoney hill road making it impassable. and the mill bar and grill had more to deal with than a lunch rush. floodwaters rushed by leaving the restaurant in a reporting. some residents in alamance county are hoping for some temporary relief, after a major
