but you can see as we look toward martinsburg, winchester, culpeper, it's in the upper 80's.ve had a few showers out there that have helped to rain cool a few of those spots. notice annapolis temperature at 80. they just had a big thunderstorm go through so that has cooled them off as well but what is not giving us a break is this, the humidity and when we combine it with the temperature it feels like 105. that's what we were trying to get you ready for yesterday. believe it or not a little while ago i saw quantico as high as 114 in the heat index temperature. i don't know if that was a mistake. they're back down to 102 now. it feels like 104 in manassas but you can see that the heat is really most intense along and east of that's where that heat advisory is in effect until 8 o'clock. we're worried about that heat index lasting a little bit longer, so a few more hours with that temperature at 105 and that will take a toll on you, so if you've been spending a lot of time out we want you to cool down. we had a few thunderstorms right around the i-66 corridor. they just fizzled
